At Tap Doctor, we follow all of the cleaning guidelines set forth by the Brewer’s Association in the Draft Beer Quality Manual.

We clean the lines using the recirculation method at the proper chemical concentration and temperature for at least 15 minutes. The recirculation method is up to 80 TIMES more effective than the old school static or “can” method.

The faucets are disassembled and cleaned by hand EVERY TIME the lines are cleaned. Running clean beer through a dirty faucet is like serving a gourmet meal in a garbage can.

Finally, the lines are always flushed with clean fresh water… NOT your expensive beer. Not only is the practice of flushing with beer wasteful, it is also potentially dangerous.
